What is the PTC?

PTC stands for Parent Teacher Club. Its main goal is to provide support and enhancement to St. Mary's School. This is done through a variety of fundraising, social and service events. The PTC is a group that welcomes participation at all levels. The PTC does not solicit dues from its members.

Who is the PTC?

All St. Mary's School families and faculty are members of the PTC. St. Mary's School is fortunate to have many parents who give their time, talents, and resources in order to enrich the lives in our school. This tradition of caring has been fostered by the PTC which provides opportunities for all parents to be involved.

Why does the PTC have fundraisers?

The PTC fundraising is vital in keeping tuition rates affordable. Tuition pays only a fraction of the cost to send our children to St. Mary's Catholic School. Essentially, fundraising allows us to pay our bills.

Why should I join in?

It is important for all parents to provide input in the school their children attend. It is also important for children to see that their parents care enough about their school to be involved. This demonstrates to the children that we all have an investment in our school and our community.

The PTC needs your help in many ways. All of our programs and projects require hundreds of volunteer hours and a variety of skills. Admittedly, all of us have busy lives. However, if everyone does their part, it will make the job easier and encourage our school to thrive.

There is an enormous sense of satisfaction, which comes with doing a job that enriches the lives of our children. Additionally, the PTC is a terrific way to meet other parents with similar interests and goals. Many great friendships have been the result of working together on a project or school program.

Who do I contact for information?
