Each year the 5th grade class attends four days at the School of Environmental Education (aka Camp Kappe). The S.E.E. staff offers an intriguing experience for 5th graders who come from private, parochial and public schools.
The students, their teachers and chaperones learn about food chains and life cycles. They study botany, wild-life, farm animals and gardening.
Students are introduced to environmental issues and concerns. They learn about the effects of the environment on man and the effects of man on the environment.
Students are taught stewardship principles. These educate students to protect our God-given resources and to use them wisely.
