In order to achieve the St. Mary's School mission and to keep tuition as low as possible, every family contributes through fund raising and service hours to subsidize the cost of tuition for each student.
This is a shared commitment among 1) our St. Mary of the Assumption Parish, which subsidizes the school through collections, 2) our teachers, who sacrifice a large percentage of potential earnings in order to serve at a Catholic school, and 3) our parents, who pay tuition to partially fund the operations of the school. As we are a private school, we do not receive state, local, or federal tax funds to supplement our programs.
Thus, we rely on one another to financially maintain our exemplary academic and extracurriculur offerings. This is a shared responsibility that requires us all to work vigorously to fundraise and to play key roles in service to our school. In addition to other procedures, our parents can maintain record of service and fundraising in an easy program calledTrackitforward
