As a second-generation St. Mary’s alum and a fifth-generation Taylorite, it is truly an honor to come full circle and serve the school that “built me.” The exemplary formation I received here from the Dominican Sisters and talented teachers allowed me to discover and develop my God-given talents, which in turn led me to my passions in life: my faith, my family, and my vocation as an educator.
Today, you will find that same commitment to excellence in the faith, academics, and service formation of all our students. Each child is a unique and precious creation, and we are your partners in developing their God-given potential. In our classrooms, your student will experience the richness of over 125 years of Catholic education tradition: an active faith life, a fully-accredited Catholic Classical curriculum, virtue and character formation, and the cultivation of hearts which seek to serve others.
Our teachers guide each child to live and uphold the Gospel teachings of Jesus Christ. As a result, our students will “let their light shine before others, so that they may see their good works and give glory to their Father in Heaven” (Matthew 5:16). What a wonderful world it can be if we allow God’s love and light to shine through us each and every day.
St. Mary’s Catholic School is truly a loving place to call home, for the generations past and the generations to come. We thank you for the opportunity to be your partner in the formation of your children, welcome you to our campus and weekly Mass celebrations (Tuesday-Friday), and ask for your prayers. May God bless you and your family abundantly as we embark on another exciting year together.
